I love "The Story of..." videos. This one, The Story of Cosmetics, came out a year ago in support of safer cosmetics. I posted about it back then. Happily, one year later, the Safe Cosmetics Act of 2011 is being introduced. It will eliminate the most harmful chemicals from cosmetics, much like Europe does already, and make sure cosmetics are reviewed for safety. If you haven't seen it already, take a moment to watch the video and then take action and tell your Representative that safe cosmetics are important to you.
