Yum, yum, yum. This may be my favorite yet. I love avocados in every form and now I've found a new way to enjoy them. My husband called this one guacamole, a drinkable guac I suppose.
The avocado, which is a fruit by the way, is packed full of vitamins and healthy fat. Strawberries give you the Vitamin C and antioxidants. Spinach is a great source of fiber and iron. Kale is just full of the good stuff your body needs.
I don't use frozen fruits or ice much. If needed I just toss my glass into the freezer while I clean the Vitamix. I did not feel the need to freeze this smoothie at all. I can't say the same for grabbing a handful of tortilla chips. I think I'm adding strawberries to our next batch of guacamole!
Ingredients
- 1 Leaf of Kale
- 1.5 cups Spinach
- 1 whole Avocado
- 7-8 strawberries
- 1/2 tbsp Chia Seeds

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Tear the Kale leaf and add it with the spinach into the blender. Process this, adding a bit of milk as needed, to chop it up.
Step 2
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend.
Step 3
Add the liquid of your choice as needed. I like using Almond Coconut milk so I get the benefits of both. Start with a little and add more if your smoothie is thicker than desired. Enjoy!
